When creating an indoor plant or garden, there are several things to keep in mind. You should plan according to the available space and environment of the location. If you want to create a natural environment for your office, you can buy plants that come with a tub. If you want to garden at home or anywhere else, there are different aspects of gardening to follow.
First, choose the type of tree you want to plant and decide on the type of soil or media to use. You can choose from fruit trees, flowering trees, herb trees, and ornamental trees. You can even have a vegetable garden with trees. Before starting a new garden, you should consider several aspects.
- Selection of trees
- Soil media or Coconut dust media
- Disease
1. Tree selection:
It’s important to know the different types of trees available before selecting the one you want to plant. You can choose from fruit trees, flowering plants, medicinal plants, ornamental plants, and even vegetable plants. Once you’ve made your selection, ensure that your garden is designed to provide each tree with the appropriate amount of light and shade that it requires. Some trees need direct sunlight, while others prefer a light, shady environment. All trees require sunlight, but some ornamental plants will benefit from exposure to sunlight once a week or every 15 days to help them live longer. It’s possible to plant trees all year round, but it’s best to plant them during the appropriate season. Planting out of season will not yield good results, so it’s essential to plant trees according to the season.
2. There are two ways to prepare ideal soil media or coconut dust media.
A. Soil media b. Coconut Dust Media.
i. Soil media:
An important part of gardening is preparing good soil for plants. The best types of soil are atel soils and loam soils. To prepare the soil for mature plants, there are several steps to follow. An ideal soil mixture for plants includes one part soil, one part dung or vermicompost, and one part of various organic or chemical fertilizers. To get good results, everything should be mixed well and dried in the sun, then kept in a tub or bag for 10 days and used.
ii. Coconut dust media:
The coconut dust blocks or direct coconut dust powder should be soaked in water and then dried in the sun. An ideal coconut dust media mixture includes one part coconut dust, one part dung or vermicompost, and one part organic or chemical fertilizer mix. Using the same method as making soil media, you can also make coconut dust by mixing all the ingredients.
3. Disease: When it comes to controlling diseases in plants, the quality of soil is crucial. To reduce the risk of plant diseases, it is recommended to plant trees in good-quality soil. To ensure that the soil is of good quality, lime should be added to it and then dried in the sun for 5 to 10 days. This will help the soil contain germs that are beneficial for the plants. When selecting seedlings, make sure they are nutritious and free from rot. If you plan to grow your seedlings, it is important to treat the seeds to protect the plant from various diseases. Instead of using chemicals, it is recommended to use organic fertilizers for the growth of plants.
